About Applegate Family Nutrition
Susan Fuchs, MS, IBCLC
As a mother, nutritionist and lactation consultant, Susan has worked with families in the clinical setting as well outpatient clinics. Graduating with her Masters of Nutrition from Drexel University, she is currently pursuing a PhD in Nutrition Science and is a professional public speaker.

Working with special needs children for over 20+ years and in her time as an IBCLC, she has encountered families who have struggled to implement what is taught in a doctor's office when they get home. Starting Applegate Family Nutrition was a way to help families develop their nutrition plan in their everyday lives.

Raquel Duran, RDN, LD
Raquel Duran is a registered dietitian with a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Kansas State University. She works as a clinician at an acute care hospital providing nutritional intervention to hospitalized patients; she also works as a community nutritionist providing prenatal education and counseling to expectant mothers. With her passion for counseling she enjoys helping individuals utilize diet and lifestyle changes to reach their health and wellness goals.
